What are the different types of lip augmentation?
There are four different types of lip enhancement that each provide different results.

1. 1. Fat Transfer Augmentation
      During this type of augmentation, a small amount of fat is taken from the thigh or hip. The fat is then placed into a centrifuge that spins it rapidly to improve the concentration of the cells. Once concentrated, the fat is injected into the chosen areas of the lip.
      This is a completely natural procedure because no chemicals are used, however, the procedure usually needs to be performed 2-3 times to achieve the desired result.

1. 1. Injectable Fillers
      Fillers are the most common type of lip enhancement and involve injecting a substance such as Juvederm or Botox into the areas of the lip that need plumping. The results are visible immediately and last for up to 6 months.

1. 1. Lip Lift
      If the distance between the top of your lip and the base of your nose is a little longer than you’d like, a lip lift can be carried out. This involves a small incision being made at the base of the nose and excess tissue being removed. The incision is then sutured.
      This causes the top lip to lift up giving it a fuller and shapelier appearance.

1. Lip Implants
   A silicone implant is inserted into the center of the lips through 2 minor incisions made at the corners of the mouth. Lip implants offer permanent results.
